Default Benitez: Manchester United's dominance 'based on money'

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...r-league-title

"When you talk about Manchester United you are talking about a top side spending big, big money on every single player. Every season.

For me that is the main difference between the teams. You have seen that with regard to Chelsea before, spending big money. The advantage United have is that they have a big squad. In the last years they have spent money to improve that squad even more.

They have spent big on top-class players, so they can make mistakes and they can change players. When we won there, they had Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Dimitar Berbatov on the bench."

Does anyone have to hand the net spending figures for both teams since the fat £#%&! took over?

What a £#%&!ing crank. Deluded.

Had a similar argument with a Chelsea fan yesterday.

"You spent £30m on Rooney, £30m on Berbatov and £30m on Rio".

Erm. Shevchenko? Drogba? Wright Phillips? Essien? Oh, and we didn't pay £30m for Rooney.

teams in the Premier League.”

Spending money is cheating.

If he was an honourable man he'd only spend as much as Hull each season, you know, so it's fair and right and just.

The problem is he's a hypocrite.

Well, Rafa, I've considered what you've said, and I've come up with a suitable response:

have maybe more than we do, but if United have more points, it
only means they have more points, that’s all, NOTHING ELSE.”

This is the reaction he wants and he's got it.

Just ignore the fat £#%&!er and pray each night that he'll burst in his sleep in the not too distant future.

Why is it that when he talks about stuff like this, like he has done previously, NOT ONE JOURNO brings up this transfer league thing and points out the fact he's spent more than we have?!
