He won't join City. Here he is recently protesting Qatar's human rights violations. I imagine he'll be equally disgusted with the UAE's track record and will tell Mansour where to stick his £600k a week....

This whole Raiola model is on borrowed time, it has to be. I can’t believe clubs have dealt with this so badly.

De Bruyne is supposed to be on £400k a week btw.
The way city are continuing, the league will turn into Scottish football, I'm already losing interest with only one team winning and boring us all at the same time!

There was no mention of the how, just that it's boring with one team winning.

There were more teams challenging until the very end. Now not so

The vermin won the title last season.
They ran city close the year before.
City dominated the one before.
It's hardly the prolonged domination people are making out.
It's not like us winning 8 of the first 11 titles, 99/00 by 18 points.

We're just feeling the pain because we're not in a position to do anything about it yet. Similarly with Liverpool, until Fergie arrived and had five years under his belt (and them £#%&!ing up), we had one good season where Choccy scored a lot and we finished second.

Many on the board are under 40 and won't remember a time when we weren't challenging for the title.

Liverpool of 1970s and 1980s was on merit and as was United of 1990s and 2000s.

Whats happening at man city is not on merit by any means, its just cheating in plain sight.

on the face of it you're right but there's little clues as to the competitveness being slowly eroded out of our league.

The constant record busting number of points being posted up, the huge 20+ game winning streaks every season, 100+ goals being scored

Lets not forget city are on to do the domestic treble for the 2nd time in 3 seasons.

We did the double twice in three seasons when it had been done about three times in a century prior. We added a treble which had never been done a few years after that.

I'm also fairly sure no-one thought we were in any way deserving, breaking transfer records and with much more revenue than anyone else. Self-generated it may have been but commercial tie-ups is pure capitalism, not some sporting merit.

We were rich because we were successful

City are successful because their owners are rich

big difference.
