Do they want him to go over to the monitor, think "that probably should have been a pen" but stick with his initial call because it's not "clear and obvious"?
Yeah the "clear and obvious" related to the grounds for the VAR official overriding the referee. Now the referee is using the monitor he's reviewing his own decision, not being overruled, so "clear and obvious" doesn't apply.

So £#%&! 'em.

If you would have offered me anything like that come Christmas i would have bitten your hand off.

Still plenty games to go but a win tomorrow and it would be hard not to get a bit excited given we are usually 20 points behind at Christmas.

Compare Ole's passionate defence of the players for getting on with it when they are being run ragged to this ranting snidey #@&%!. No contest

Edit: Also, Burnley are £#%&!ing shite. Going down with Fulham unless something seriously changes. Just letting City walk it into the net at will. The third goal was an utter shambles.

Win the two games in hand and it's 1 point behind Liverpool and right in the mix

Ole Out

Get his point about the 12:30 KO's during covid but the broadcasters are being more than fair paying out for this fake football as it is.

Tomorrow is the typical hurdle this team will falter at.

I.E. winning three or more consecutive league wins.

2019/20 - Once - 4 games on the spin.

2018/19 - Once - 6 games on the spin when Ole took over.

2017 / 18 - Actually managed it quite a few times, hence the 2nd place and pts total.

2016 / 2017 - Twice - 6 games, 3 games

2015 / 2016 - Once - 3 games

Takes some going at a club with United's resources to be that shit at winning 3 league games on the spin.

Everton Leeds is a cracker for nil nil.

Not bothering with Sheff Utd but hope Wilder has something to say.

Edit: 1-0 Leeds. Cracker.

And this is what we wanted. All last season they were bleating on about refs needing to go over check their decisions on the monitor. Now that they are, we’re just moaning that they’re not making the calls we want.

Same with us last week. You had everyone complaining that VAR ‘put pressure on the ref’. No, he made the call and had the time and benefit multiple viewings to come to the decision he did.

Clear and obvious is subjective anyway.

Great result for Everton. Who are better than Utd now, like Wolves and Leicester.
