So conceding shots on goal is some new metric is it
Not like it’s been a stat since the PL started (probably before that as well)

I’m sure it’s perfectly normal for a top club to concede so many shots on goal, just look at all the top clubs on that list…..

ETH has probably come up with a new tactics based off the old Ali Frazier fight that involves tiring the opposition out by giving them so many shots on our goal

These days I don’t watch much European football so I’ve no idea if the Sporting manager is any good for instance as I never watch them
Clearly there doesn’t appear to be an obvious standout candidate but INEOS have shown they don’t mind trying to get hard to obtain targets so we might be surprised who they might be able to land

I’m not out here with a pitch fork saying sack ETH now
The club will make whatever decision it makes in the summer
If it’s keeping ETH for another season then I’ll hope for the best for next season but we all know that’s not going to happen

Of course what all that has to do with you deflecting attention away from the fact that you seem to think shots on our own goal doesn’t matter and isn’t a meaningful and long standing stat I don’t know

If you choose to ignore those numbers then fine, but at least acknowledge what you’re watching week on week. I’ve never seen a United side spend so much time in every single game under pressure from the opposition. Pinned into our own area conceding corner after corner against the league’s dross.

It’s why we’re so easy to beat. Its why we’ve lost the same amount of games as £#%&!ing Bournemouth and lost more than Chelsea, Brighton and West Ham.
