The Bert's game £#%&!ing hell Neville mentioning City didn't have their best side out every five minutes like Pep had been forced to pick four or five of the under 23's.

City looked OK but Arsenal were forever trying to cut their own throat, some of their passing was absolutely woeful, especially when they were trying to play out of the back, even so a bit more composure in the final third and they may have made City sweat a bit.

If you never take a chance you’ll never have either.
Occasionally we did get trounced under Fergie but he never let it effect him or the team
Don’t think Jose has ever been quite the same since the 5 nil hammering by Pep’s Barca

The draw at Liverpool was a good result, pretty sure we would all take a draw there this season?

United got slated as per for the draw when its liverpools job to win at home.

As sparky said the 3 draws in a row at xmas (to utter shit) royally £#%&!ed us. It all started with a late equalizer from big £#%&!ing slab head

Don’t know how many times it needs to be said that the result wasn’t the issue but the approach. We spent the entire second half kicking the ball into touch or launching it to their back line, it wasn’t some masterful defensive performance, it was a shithouse approach against a team that had started slow.

Correct.

As good as City were last year, and they were very good, they pretty much played without any pressure for 7 months of the season. It’s easy to relax and play open attacking football when you know it’s neither here nor there if you don’t win because you’ve got it sewn up.

With the rest of the league so pathetic it should’ve been our manager and players who took up the challenge and made sure City were going to have to give everything to earn that title.

But instead the lot of them reverted to type at Anfield, turned a team which was playing well and scoring goals into a negative, reactionary unit. The manager went shithouse, the players followed suit and it became a default setting.

For a few glorious weeks at the start of the season we recaptured some of the old United fear factor. Opponents knew there was a good chance of getting a shoeing and were scared of opening up against us. Then they flushed that away and we became the cowardly United to which we’re becoming sadly accustomed. Only really going at teams when they forced us to, rather than doing it early on and putting them away.

City away showed what we were capable of producing. Sevilla at home (and away for that matter) showed what we were expected to produce by the manager.

If we went there to win and ended up getting a draw then fair enough.

Going there with the sole objective of stopping them scoring is not acceptable. And I understand fully that their attackers needed to be contained, no issue there. The issue is that there was no plan in place to actually nick the game having shut them down. It’s not £#%&!ing good enough.

Agreed, that is one of the few unknowns about this City side, can they do ot under pressure.

Be very interesting to see how they play mid April 5 points off the top playing last game on a Sunday.

Sadly it will never come to that.

Big time. United’s two biggest rivals are the best teams in the league and are fighting for the league whilst united are managed by a dinosaur and will be fighting to finish 3rd at best, playing absolutely dire football during the process.

Enjoy the next 10 months lads

Leeds are playing brilliant football as well, that's our three most bitter rivals having teams play football in style, while we're stuck with this turgid shite. I find the loyalty to him baffling tbh.

Souness has really got his giddy Scouse hat on these days hasn’t he. He used to be quite balanced a few years back but nowadays he can barely contain his £#%&!ing glee when talking about Liverpool. It’s like watching LFC TV.
