He's obvioulsy a vastly improved player ffs.More confidence, more brain to his game and he scores from £#%&!ing everywhere. He came to a huge club and a lot of expectation was placed on his shoulders and I dont think he could handle the pressure too well. That wouldn't be a problem now, after proving himself on every level he's played at since.

Yeah, he missed some sitters. He also scored some screamers and very important goals. He's a totally different player now yet some are talking like he's still the same player he was 5-6 years ago

Remember two seasons ago when Nani was 'shit'?
Look, Forlan was useless at OT. Couldn't trap a ball, couldn't score, no positional sense whatsoever. Even in his finest hour at Anfield, there was a sense of incredulity all round simply because he'd hit the target twice in succession. He himself was as stunned as were ffs.

And has Nani now proven himself??? Missed this tbh.

Can you not see how much Forlan has improved though?! He's not the same player that turned up at OT and had all those faults to his game. He's scored for fun, against top teams, very consistantly since leaving.Honest/non-piss take of a question Carlo, do you watch a lot of Spanish football? Forlan has been a golden boot winner and one of that leagues top players for nigh on 3 years now.You cant equate the player he was to the player he now is.

And Nani isn't the finished article, but he has proved that he's now an important player for us - even after a lot of Reds (and the media, obv) wrote the lad off 2 seasons ago.

He's 30.

51 mongs voting for him.

No chance of it happening, and no chance i'd take him back unless its on a free. Atletico would ask for £20m+, which is a joke for someone who is 30 and we sold to Villarreal for £2m or whatever it was.

What did they vote for then? Atleti giving him to us out of charity,

Get real.

You are all just desperate for anything, I bet if I put up a thread about bringing back Phil Neville he'd get at least 20 votes.

It's a bit of fun, you stupid Norwegian transfer tart:shakehead:

I don't think many of us who said "yes" seriously expect him to come back, you know........

Having said that, I'd have him over MO7 any day of the week
