Exclamation Stats showing how pathetic we are

*This is the lowest Manchester United have ever been after 12 games of a Premier League season (also 8th in 2004/05). They are 12 points off the top of the table; only once have they been further behind the leaders after 12 games (13 points in 2014/15).

* United have a negative goal difference (-1) after the first 12 games of a top-flight season for the first time since 1977/78 (-1).

* United have lost at least four of their first 12 games of a top-flight season for the first time since 1990/91.

* Fulham (0) are the only club to keep fewer clean sheets than United (1) this season. Cardiff and Huddersfield (both 2) have more.

* United have conceded as many shots in the Premier League this season as Huddersfield (154).

* United have scored fewer open play goals in the Premier League this season (12) than Watford (13).

* United have scored fewer goals (45) than Bournemouth (46), and conceded more (33) than Newcastle (32) in the Premier League in 2018.

* United’s Premier League shot conversion rate since Mourinho was appointed is 11.2%. Of the 14 teams to have played in every season of the Premier League since 2016/17, eight have a better shot conversion rate. That list includes Bournemouth (11.3%), Leicester (11.9%) and Everton (12.2%), the latter of whom sold their striker to United for £75m in summer 2017.

* Fifty-nine Premier League hat-tricks have been scored since Manchester United’s most recent (Robin van Persie, April 2013). Eighteen different Premier League clubs – including Aston Villa, Burnley, QPR, Stoke and Sunderland – have scored one since United last did.

* Wayne Rooney is in the top ten of players to score the most goals under Mourinho for United (8).

That's fine, but what about the non-quantitative successes, such as the mingling with the fans and the ear-cupping in Turin?

The one yesterday about how we’d only made 6 successful passes before City’s goal is astonishing.

I don't believe Sanchez had 6 touches tbh, and they must just class the ball hitting Lukaku as a 'touch'.

You know every season up until this one I've always gone in hopeful and thinking "ok let's kick on, it's all gonna click this time round" and we have just gotten progressively shitter to watch. Its not even the position on the table for me that's killing it for me this year, just some attractive football and cohesive attacking play would do for me at this point.

He needs another 5 years and £2billion to achieve that mate. Buckle yourself in. It may not even be attainable because he wasn't allowed to buy Frankenstein's monster in the summer and something about Woodward.
