From where I was sat, we were pretty poor today. With a ruud we'd have been 3 up before half time. Yeah it was a good result but that shouldn't gloss over the fact we're missing a cutting edge

We overall weren't outstanding today, it's true. but the goals weren't especially late either and the performance was no different to your average routine win in any of Ferguson's 20 odd seasons. In most of them there's always been something to remember the game for and today Rooney was clinical.

We had good creativity from Nani, but we were missing Berbatov and Giggs for an hour so it was hardly surprising we weren't especially imaginitive.

Hull came and had a go just as expected and fair play to them. They might even have nicked an equaliser, but they didn't deserve it. We battered them.
