Doesn’t give the ball away either which is an issue with Rashford who can be very hit and miss

Honestly….. a fit Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho would give the opposition nightmares.

One v one I don’t think there’s a better player in world football. He is going to move us on so much. Finally a real player for that right side.

he has a career for which he is wildly unsuited. he doesn't need to change positions as well.

the difference between him and, say... valencia... is that valencia was a tough bastard monster. james is like a girl. not even neville g-esque toughness. valencia made himself competent as a fullback (indeed, he was the best in his position in the pl), but it wasn't ideal for him.

clearly, I do not want to derail the thread by suggesting that valencia was ideally-suited to a kante role, but... if you can't see it, that's on you, my friend.
