Default The Palestine vote 13th October

The fact that there are people threatening resignation over such a pointless and symbolic vote speaks volumes imo. Should be named and shamed.

As for the vote, Ali Abunimah does a good job of breaking down how meaningless it really is in the grand scheme of things.

But if it goes through, watch the abuse aimed at Miliband and co. If this winds them up, then its no wonder the peace process is a stinking dead corpse.

Only 12 MPs voted against - even though opponents were told to abstain/stay away, that's still impressive.

One of the highlights was a Tory MP being called out (by one of his own side, in fact) for parroting an Israeli embassy handout verbatim

Wonder when kerry will tire of being humiliated by Bibi and co

Meanwhile there seems to be a murdered palestinian every week in the west bank, where there are no rockets, no hamas, no "terror tunnels"...
