Officially available for €35m and leaving this week.

Will £#%&! us off for PSG or Madrid

No doubt we’ve put all our eggs in this basket.

I’m sure one or other will find a way.

Would be an OK signing if we also signed a more experienced midfielder. On his own, I doubt he changes much at all this season.

Wont be either of those two. They have zero cash hence the free agent game. I'd take him for a few seasons. No issues using the club as a stepping stone.

Hope so. Doubt it though.

Tbf, France is on its arse money wise, there must be a few players there that we could pick up for reasonable money that would improve us.

PSG close to £26m deal for Camavinga

Gives VDB somebody to pair up with in the drills.

‘Stepped up our interest’ this week according to Big Dunc Castletons.

Which most likely means we haven’t 👍

Read that he wasn’t as impressive towards the end of last season (from someone that actually watches the Uber Eats league).

Sounds like the lad wants to go to Madrid already..

Sounds like nobody wants Ninguez that badly.

We should just make a move for a player proven in the premier league.

Neves would be the smart move, but that would mean no Rice next summer, hence the reluctance.

We could sign Camavinga as he’s under 21 and there is space in the squad for him, anyone over 21 would mean someone has to be unregistered, as Jonah was last season, unless someone leaves. United () don’t want unregistered players on the books.

But why can't we sign neves AND rice?
I mean surely we need more than 1 anyway.

Also, is rice actually that good or is he overhyped coz he's English?

If anything it's the glazers not sanctioning the deals more like

Replacing Matic isn’t a marquee signing. the forum predicted Rice would be too dear back in March.
Any adequate holding mid would improve our chances of top 4 again.
Why go for top of the market players if we are skint?

I would go for 2 out of niguez, nevez and camavinga if they are really 30-40m each.

I mean is rice really even all that?

Cause it's generally a terrible transfer policy. Liverpool used to do that sort of stuff 10-15 years ago. Spending cash on 3-4 relatively average players rather than getting in 1-2 good ones.

We already have enough issues with moving on squad players. Don't think we need to add in another wbo we will want rid of in 18 months

I don’t accept the comparison sorry
I deliberately did not name names but Neves is premiership proven and gettable for a moderate sum he would not be as useless this season as our purchase of last and as has pointed out might unlock the potential in the Dutchman.
We employ scouts the kid Bissuma was it was touted last week.
The idea only big purchases succeed here is bunk.
