Yeah and the £#%&!ing fuss over Foden before the tournament and he did absolutely £#%&! all.

This is what lost england the game.

34% possession ffs over 120 mins.

19 shots to 6.

Absolute dog's dinner of a non-performance. EXACTLY like the semi against Croatia in 2018. Scored early through a full back and then just stopped playing.

I thought when Southgate was doing the team huddle, he pointed to Grealish and Grealish was nodding.

I wouldn’t be too quick to say Grealish bottled it.

Awful from Southgate.

Italy are good but England could have got at them. Brings on a young Arsenal kid ahead of others then brings Rashford and Sancho on who he hasn't really picked all the tournament to take penalties.

They will get the blame whilst Sterling the best player ever doesn't even take one..

Commiserations to the English lads that wanted a English win

Southgate proper £#%&!ed that up. Feel for the lads that missed the penalties, rashers and Sancho on with a minute or two to go and that young kid in the number five spot

Where the £#%&! were Grealish and Sterling?

But as always it great for the rest of us seeing England fall because of the media hype, talk of 4 day bank holidays and knuckle dragging @#%&!s acting like @#%&!s. Until that stops it’ll always be great seeing England lose and anything.

Southgate decided the penalty takers on what they did in training

Rashford had no business even being at this tournament. He'll be in hospital next week having a £#%&!ing operation that he's needed for 6 months. Absolute farce.

I was just going to say that.

Now he's off for an operation ffs.

Bad management from himself.

Let’s hope Rashers and Sancho get over that quick, gutted for the United lads.

Not that fussed if Rashford misses the start of the season to be fair. Wan-Bissaka is well rested, so it's not like he'll need rotating early on.

Yeah, the famously money hungry Rashford will be happy.

Agree he shouldn’t have been there though. Someone from the club should have stepped in and suggested he follow Mason’s example.

I have a lot of respect for Saka for having the guts to take that pen. I imagine the other senior pros didn't have the nerve much like how Southgate volunteered in 96' when players like the self-declared "guv'nor" didn't want to take a pen
