As we have yet to be seriously linked with any cm's could Victor Lindelof be the solution we have been looking for?

He's better on the ball than most of our current midfield options while the cowardice we have seen at cb could be much better masked further up the field where mistakes aren't punished as severely nor are players as physically harassed.

He can pass. Similar to Blind though probably a slightly better defender and worse midfielder. Bit late to try and convert him.

I've got a feeling he'll end up doing a Jonny Evans and have a respectable Premier League career away from the overwhelming stage of United.

Same. He’s not a bad defender at all. He flid moments and ridiculous face and the fact he hasn’t played since 2014 make that easy to forget. If he can stay fit (massive ‘if’) then he’ll do well somewhere.

Players that play here for several years breed contempt, but they’re good players. You see that when they leave. Lingard at West Ham, evans at Leicester, Neville at Everton.
