It's a good sign that we are all so negative. I'm preparing to be absolutely sick to my stomach.

Maguire's key to this. He knows that team's individual strengths and weaknesses inside out. And they know his. Reckon it will be cagey as £#%&!, without either team going for it early on, with one eye on Chelsea v Wolves. If Wolves are doing the business, then for all I care they can play tiddlywinks in the second half. Wouldn't surprise me if we go 5-4-1, or something similar to start with.

IF we had a weeks rest i'd be confident but seeing our last 3 zombie performances, i'm expecting to let in at least 2 goals.

Our only hope is Mason & Bruno have their scoring boots on.

We seem to collapse whenever we're pressed, so we'll probably spend the majority of the game looking like a calamity waiting to happen

Think we might be better off playing Jones and have him take out Vardy. Just charge at him straight from kick off, screaming like a wounded oaf. 10v11, but them minus their best goal threat.

Don't fancy us today really... Just don't think we've got the mental fortitude to see it through. We're a team of bottlers.

Therefore I think it'll go something like this...

We score an early goal, they get one back just before half time and we'll stink out the second half and they'll get an 89th minute winner.

They score first, we come back and repeat above for the second half.

2-1 Leicester.

Proper aggy today. You just know if we mess it up we’ll have a fruitless transfer window and next season will seem a darker prospect. If we pull it off today, I think it acts as a big mental barrier lifted too - we’ve messed up a lot of opportunities this season and if we mess this up then the mentality of the squad will be in doubt next season too.

Trying to wear a cloak of pessimism in a bid to protect myself from disappointment, even though I know it won’t work.

Hope Pogba got his full 8 hours last night, bless him.

I think we can all agree that it's going to be the most insufferable match thread in the sites history.

Tbf since Fergus retired the board have normally spent big when we actually miss out on the CL and tighten the purse strings when we qualify (I think?)

Crazy bastards

The bad rep you'd be getting on here as he takes out Bruno and Vardy skips round the prone pair and tucks it away.

Arrival in the pub between 1330 and 1400. Given my limited covid drinking , I'm expecting to be a dribbling mess by full time with no memory of the game itself. Hopefully.

Leicester ITK reckons they are playing 3-5-2. Dropped the dogshit centre back Ryan Bennett which is bad news for us. Iheanacho up front.

Schmeichel
Justin - Morgan - Evans
Albrighton - Choudhury- ndidi - tielemans - Thomas
Iheanacho- vardy

We're better than that lot ffs

We really need to get the first goal and force them to open up earlier than they may otherwise do
