Antony came in quickly because he didn’t have to play catch up, he was playing under Ten Hag at Ajax up to the end of last season and then came straight in here when we bought him. The Big Don has had a couple of years of mismanagement in which he’s played very little football. He’s probably also had his confidence shot to bits. Trust in Ten Hag.

We keep the ball a lot better now and off the ball movement is getting better as the months roll on. The biggest thing Eriksen brings is the ability to pick out a pass forward that is longer than 10 yards.

So far VDB for United atleast has shown decent short passes and movement but not the range. Here’s to hoping it was just a confidence/team mate position that caused him to struggle a bit.

At the very least he could stick him out on that left side when Sancho/rashford/elanga are all playing shit

He can do short passes? Oh good he can do the basics.

Movement? He's runs around like a headless chicken or someone who has won a competition to play a first team game.

Erik making the point of mentioning Donny in his press conference. How effective he is in transition and at finding space in the penalty area. Clearly likes him. we can get some promising cameos and he becomes part of the uprising
