Linders hasn't done himself many favours since the restart, that's for sure.

Smalling has started 27 Serie A games for Roma and has been impressive throughout. Reports in Italy this week claimed that if Roma couldn't afford Smalling then Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli might step in and attempt to sign him instead. To go back to the initial point, if United beat Roma, Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli to the signing of a defender, everyone would be pretty happy, right?

United selling Smalling remains the most likely scenario this summer and his successful loan spell should only mean they get a good fee for him. Perhaps there's too much water under the bridge for the 30-year-old to return to Old Trafford and resurrect a career that has so far produced 323 appearances.
shame he’s not left footed

Dunno, but I reckon there's 10-15 times that Maguire did that this season tbh.

How many times this season was Maguire out-jumped by Vincent Kompany to hand city a title win?

Well, Kompany was in Belgium and we had absolutely no say in the title so...

I'll take Harry over Smalling any day....Smalling was a shockingly poor defender and terrible on the ball

Clearly not true. Shit on the ball, fair enough.

I'd take Maguire, but not by much. Agree he shouldn't come back though.

Dunk said that Smalling was better than Maguire 2 years ago mate. He won't admit he was wrong.

You are quite literally wasting your time.

We've struggled trying to build from the back as it is. Imagine smalling ffs, would be a calamity.

I'd go for the Celtic centre back Ajer. Physical and good on the ball. He'll probably go to Southampton and we'll spend 100m on him in two years.
