Mate, in the unlikely event I had news as momentous as that I would create a new thread for it.

Red Devils boss Solskjaer, though, wants Lingard to stay in Manchester and has reportedly reassured him he will receive opportunities during what is a hectic and gruelling season.

I'm sure "Metro Sport Reporter" has the inside scoop on what Ole thinks of Lingard. Despite all the evidence suggesting that he's well aware that Lingard isn't good enough.

He played 41 league minutes post-lockdown and wasn't in the 18 on Saturday. Seems an odd way of showing a player he'll be given chances during a packed schedule.

Lingard still being at the club is a sign that he's been difficult to get rid of, not that we want to keep him.

Our failure to sell is just as damaging as the lack of signings.

Surely this is to make him a more valuable saleable asset. If the word was that we were desperate to get rid of the useless **** it would be tough to strike any sort of deal.

He played well under Mou. Strange Ole can't get a tune out of him.

don't understand why we are struggling to sell these guys other than Woodward is demanding too much money for them. You would think the main priority would be getting their wages off the bill while also adding a small/decent transfer fee

Because you can’t force clubs to over pay for shit players mate. There’s only so often you can burn the Sunderlands and West Hams of this world. It appears from the outside that Woodward really doesn’t get the financial aspects of football that are unique and different from regular finance.

hell...who's asking them to overpay, woodward? £#%&!ing make it a fair deal to move these guys along and get off the wage bill. If he's pricing us out of selling these guys then he has no clue how to run a football club financially

This is the central point of everything that is wrong with the club. He's obviously a top notch 'creative accountant' but is a babe in the wood in terms of football finance and negotiations.

His design and delivery of the glazer deal tells us about his underlying values and attitude to MUFC, no one who gives a shit would have put together a deal that allowed people with no money to buy the club and hitch it with the debt. Utd are just like any other resource, there to be exploited.
