Evans has been excellent for a good few months now, makes a nice easy whipping boy though he's about 23 ffs, having to juggle playing with a different partner practically every game, the brain dead Jones, fading Rio or the consistently injured and inexperienced Smalling (and the occasional midfielder) and differing goalkeepers with the shakes behind him. And thats before we get into the £#%&!ing fullbacks. He's done brilliantly, especially off the back of the nightmare season last year, credit where it's due.

spot on, i was one of those critical of him but he has come good, still hope for bebe.

Would love to see that.

Sadly, hoping for a properly balanced system that suits the players we have is almost becoming the same as hoping for us to sign a world class player. It's just not going to happen.
