Car Advice Needed

Now I know my car choices have been the figure of some fun in the past, mainly from the old f***ers like nofun and duckers but I need the forums help.

Mrs Scholes is adament we need a 7 seater and I quite frankly f***ing hate them. She says once the baby seat is moved into the back that there is hardly any room with scholes jnrs booster seat in there as well.
She has tried it out in here dads 4x4 and even that was a tight squeeze so she has it in her head that a 7 seater is needed

I don't even know who makes 7 seater cars and which ones are half decent (if any).

So Fredsters I need your help, can you recommend a 7 seater or maybe advise me (those with 3 kids minimum) on what other "normal" cars are out there with lots of room in the back

PS - No pictures of noddy cars, mr beans mini or scooby doo's van please

you can have family holidays as well just look at the extras


-2-3 person inflatable boat with Oars and pump
-2 Blow up mattresses
-2 foam fold/roll out mattress
-5 tents, (2 x 4 man, 3 x 2 man)

-1 massive double sleeping bag
-Heaps of bedding (sheets, pillows & cases, doona & cover)
-12V powered Esky / Chillibin / cold box (this was awesome)
-Converter 240V to 12V for esky when at campsites etc.
-Long extension lead with Euro fitting
-Mini Portable BBQ grill with coals
-2 fold up tables
-2 fold up chairs
-Tarp with poles and couple of extras for the ground
-Picnic Blanket
-Portable Speakers
-4 Fishing reels n some tackle
-Beach umbrella
-Straw beach mats
-Inflatable lilo
-Beach games
-Solar Shower!!!

Best one out there is the Toyota corrolla verso . other than that the Seat alhambra , VW sharan orFord Galaxy all the same car with different badges and Trim. The seat is usually cheaper mind. Are you after new or used ?

What sort of budget are you looking at? Mercedes do the M class with 7 seats. You could pick up a 2003 one for around £6-7k

Probably around £15kish, cheers for that list i'll take a look at them.

Ideally looking for something no more than 2 years old

I've got a mega rider, should easily get me into rusholme in 20 mins

Bought a Chrysler Voyager about a month ago, quality car for a family, has loads of space with lots of extras. Some great deals out there.

Just seen a few for £22k, miles better than anything else though.

Although your pick of the M series was a good un, not to bad in terms of looks.

was thinking about a merc r class before setting my heart firmly with an Audi (the merc would double up nicely for business/family use). I am pretty sure they are availble as 7 seaters:

That is a lovely looking car, shame about the price though
