It’s whether the job would be too big for him though, especially with the cretins calling the shots above him.
That’s why it might be worth leaving Ole there to do all the other shit and just let him sort the first team out.

It’s all adding up that he’s a deadman waking imo, it’s just matter of timing it and it’ll probably be the international break.

Also I think it means they might actually be looking at a manager that’s currently in a job, so tougher to just sack Ole and have his replacement lined up and ready to go. They’ll be working on structuring the deal etc (we know how long it takes them to sign players ffs)

I’m guessing Rodgers or Potter.

Actually my money is on Potter.

Who wouldn’t you be disappointed by? Other that the Ajax lad, there isn’t a manager out there that doesn’t just scream more problems.

I like Fletch, but what exactly has he done that qualifies him to recommend the absolute best candidate on the entire globe to manage United?

Surely there must be a better, more exhaustive, process than that, rather than just letting someone who’s already at the club make the decision?

It’s like letting your dog choose your energy provider ffs.

Would have been a good idea two years ago

But not now, he has to go.

No way any good manager would come in after the current manager has basically had an internal promotion after seeing us get beat 5-0.

They’d run for the hills.

Maybe. Can just see further disasters on the horizon though tbh.

Probably

But especially if we look at every manager we hire as being the next fergie and thinking they’ll be here for decades. It’s just not possible in the modern game imo.

What other shit?

I'm sure Potter (or anyone ) would love a job share with the man they just replaced.

Sounds about £#%&!ing right. Tell them to go and execute a game plan that you’ve never worked on in training.

It looks like the people in charge are just as disorientated as the players.
Nobody taking responsibility and everyone's roles blending into each other.

I'm just surprised they haven't asked ronaldo what they should do.
