Our problem isn't the players it's the way they are playing*. These teams are trying to move the ball quickly and play one or two touch passes forward. They turn over possession a lot though. We have a team where everyone takes loads of touches and passes backwards to retain possession.

*It's the players as well.

Di Maria isn't a very good winger, he can do a job there but that's about it.

He needs to play in a central role but a lot deeper then he is now.

He is absolutely superb as a box to box midfielder, and has that touch of class to create opportunities/goals often.

Playing him there does carry the risk that he'll lose possession a lot though, so can't see him ever being given chance to shine under Louis.
