Not quite. It just seems like everything they mention seems to have a united caveat attached.

“If city win today it will be the first time since United..”
“If Liverpool win today, they will go one closer to United’s....”

Just a bit weird that they can’t stop talking about us when we have no involvement in today’s results whatsoever.
