Default Manchester United agree scheme for fans to own shares in club

Quote:
On Tuesday MUST held a first online consultation with fans on the agreement, with 99% of those who voted in an exit poll stating they would approve it. The ballot to vote on the scheme closes on Tuesday. If accepted it will then go before United’s board.

...

The scheme would comprise new shares being issued that would be part of a “B” category, meaning they would match those owned by the Glazers, who own United, and have 10 times the voting weight of “A” category, which are owned by most investors.

0.8% ownership of the club for £13.2m over 2 years, with a whopping 2.2% of voting rights...

They will never part with enough shares to ever make it meaningful. Also presume in the unlikely event they wanted to offload some shares, they would go to the market and not MUST.
Tick box for the parasites, pointless having voting rights if they are setting the agenda.

The horse has obviously bolted but what else can realistically be done other than a very slow build up of shares?

Not bother bending over and getting £#%&!ed by a group of parasite @#%&!s only interested in protecting themselves.

The share thing was put about before the protests and was put to MUST before the protests. It doesnt take a genius to work out MUST are a £#%&!ing joke and anyone with half a brain knows that.

The Glazers have no interest in talking to the fans. They’re interested in money and they’re £#%&!ing the club and its fans.

£#%&! MUST and the Glazers

Not saying its easy but its more realistic than coloured scarves or keeping giving them money

Not only realistic but after 15 years it should be obvious by now it's the only option that would see them gone.
