He had a real impact I agree. We were suddenly getting the ball forward more quickly and more accurately.

My own he was pretty poor for most of the game. He makes a good pass and we are signing him up on a 5 year contract, may as well give him 8 1/.2 eh? Did he impress you for the whole of the game. did he control the midfield when we were getting over run for 75 minutes. No he didn`t impress me either. And gloves today, it was £#%&!ing 8 degrees at least. The guys a £#%&!ing wimp, stick him in a cold shower with Martinez that will sort him out!

Not to mention the fact he’d had enough of the Maguire Passing Crabfest and came back demanding the ball. Took charge of the situation and that’s what I want to see our midfielders doing.
Eh?

£#%&!ing good win, that. We all get a bit anxious not seeing flowing football but the way they started flying into tackles and the ref just gave a foul (or not) set the tone. Enjoyed Malacia giving it back.. proud of the lad actually. Got the distinct impression Erik had got the measure of them, first hand, after the OT meet. All hindsight, but it seemed to follow a pattern. Was getting a bit frustrated with lack of involvement from Rashers until… they knew what to expect and dealt with it. Still happy to see Nacho coming on against tired spoilers and cloggers. He’ll be a starter soon enough.

A few more tweaks and we’ll be there.

Erik.

Leeds manager said they were the better team for 80 mins

Did £#%&! all, two half chances. Bruno should have scored in the first half. We weren’t great for the first 70 off mins, but Leeds weren’t better

There is a level of vitriol that comes to the surface when playing these backwards #@&%!s. Long may it continue imo.

Considering we were missing Varane, Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen, Anthony and Martial, that was a very very good result.

Hearing Wouty killed it as a no.10?
