Agreed, BUT - their manager bullying referees, while ours meekly takes it up the wrong un from them all season clearly has an effect over a season.

Ferguson didn't used to do it for a laugh.

Exerting pressure on the referees is essential, especially in a competitive league. Our manager doesn't do it. He just doesn't get it.

Totally. Has to put more pressure on refs - we consistently get atrocious decisions. Another clanger gets dropped and he waffles on about some irrelevant shite. I dislike the practice of it but Pep and Klopp do it all the £#%&!ing time and it works.

He's had a slight pop at them but i don't think any manager we've had apart from Mourinho has had the %@#$&!s to call out the refs. Van Gaal was too busy warring with journos half the time.
