It was just an aside. It's good that despite a few players leaving we keep developing so that the success continues. When Ronnie £#%&!s off in the summer, we'll do the same.

"Loads" is more than none for such a magnificent manager.

Beckham
Ruud
Stam
Kanchelskis
Veron
Forlan - the following seasons Goldne Boot winner
Tim Howard

Those are off the top of my head without giving it much thought. It looks as if Fergie's staying on holiday and Ronnie not going was as much to do with luck as judgement.

I didn't expect him to become the goldent boot winner the following season. Anyway it was in reply to Toseeunited. He was asking me to name players who we sold when they hadn't had their best years at United. You'd have to include Forlan in that. Just because Fergie couldn't get the best out of them, it doesn't mean they werent't good players.

Beckham - we got ronaldo, million times the player
Ruud - we play much better without him
Stam - mistake
Kanchelskis - he wanted to go
Veron - not cut out for the premiership
Forlan - the following seasons Goldne Boot winner - wasn't good enough at the time
Tim Howard - not good enough. nft

Of course their numbers will increase over time, they are hardly likely to decrease, are they
