Default Carlos Tevez

Fantastic last night, class, skill, great workrate and just an incredible enthusiasm for the game. For the sake of plain fairness he has to be rewarded with a starting place on Satdee. No doubt some will use this as a stick to beat another United player but I prefer to just applaud a great performance.

I don't see how he can be rewarded with a starting place. berbs looked great on sunday. rooney has scored and we can be sure he will continue this for at least 5-6 matches now. so both can't be dropped.

Ronaldo is anyway undroppable.

Doesn't bode well for tevez.

Also remember this was a £#%&! blackburn side. All well and good scoring a hattrick against £#%&! side ( which comprised of a tap in and penalty ) and playing in premierleague.

Maybe fergie should give last 30 mins or so on saturday and see if he can do something. If not its best for all for tevez and united to part ways. We can't have someone who is very poor of the bench knowing we already have 2 starters in striking position.

I think he will be on the bench again and if we are winning at half time he will start the 2nd half.

Shame really 4 goals in a first game and then get dropped is a bitter pill to swallow

I'd actually like to see a front 3 of Tevez, Rooney and Berbie at some point, think it might work pretty well. Not like Ronaldo is playing great at the moment either.

As I say fairness would dictate he starts but I suspect you may be correct.

For the first 20mins or so against the murderers we looked good with these 3 upfront until Wesley and VDS and a major £#%&!ing lapse.

rotating the squad, ensuring match fitness, giving players a rest...

none of these should be seen as 'dropping' a player

tevez may well play at the weekend, but it won't mean that berbatov, ronnie or rooney are suddenly out of favour, though doubtless meedja-speak requires that it be a 'slap in the face for suddenly out of favour [insert name]', requiring him to 'demand an explanation', 'confront fergie' and 'confide to friends' something or other.

we've got a big squad and, thankfully, the best person there is at managing it.

fwiw i still think the long-term plan is to have all four on the field together in a 4-2-3-1 formation:

back 4
two of anderson, fletcher, carrick, scholes, possebon
three of ronnie, rooney, berbatov, tevez, nani, park
one of rooney, berbatov, ronnie, tevez

atm
vds
quicksilva - rio - vidic - evra
fletcher - carrick
ronnie - berbatov - rooney
tevez

but it might take a while for that particular formation to work.

if you think for all this time tevez has been "rotated" and not "dropped" you are £#%&!ing deluded my dear.

its simple like it or not. Berbatov and Rooney if fit will start all the big games along with Ronaldo. Tevez won't. Its that simple. It will be better if people start accepting that like it or not.

ronaldo has scored 9 £#%&!ing goals, most of them match winners.

not like tevez who had 2 goals in 19 matches and 3 goals against a £#%&! blackburn.
