Default Qatari European football landscape

I've lost track of which pies the Qataris have got their fingers in now - City, PSG, Barcelona...

One of you sages got any dirt on how vested interests may be playing out in the transfer of players between clubs lately?

Would Fabregas be made more readily available if the offer was from PSG, for example?

There is more impetus to transfer players between the Qatar invested clubs yes. Keeping them wihin the same group so to speak.

As an aside, they are also investing heavily in (and taking on Dubai) in horse racing. They also bought Harrods and are the largest shareholder in Sainsburys so we should see Ibrahimovic and Messi pushing pork pies soon.

It's made the transfer market ridiculous but a part of me finds it funny, city get all that money, win the league then this happens. They can't attract the top players.
