As in, if the management above are holding the club back then it would be better for the club's future to say it and resign rather than going along with it as Fergie did leading to our current situation where Ashley Young is club captain.

I miss valencia.

out: grant, bailly, jones, rojo, young, darmian, pogba, sanchez, lukaku, chong.

if de gea wants out, oblak or romero will be fine.

just need a tricky winger and a couple of defensive midfielders who pay attention.

This. Priorities to bullet are jones, young, darmian, lukaku and Sanchez.

I’d add lingard simply because I hate him and want to see him try and launch his clothes line at a club more akin to his talent level ie Norwich

Please god, no Bale. We'll end up paying that Welsh crock to sit on the treatment table until his contract runs out and he takes up golf professionally.

Did anyone seriously believe we'd get a DOF?

I remember Mourinho taking a lot of the blame for the lack of a Director of Football during his time as manager, even though he recommended Luis Campos for the role (who would've been an awesome appointment IMO).

Back then it's hard to imagine that Woodward could be a bigger @#%&! than I already thought he was, but he manages to surpass even my disgracefully low opinion of him on a daily basis. The best we can hope for is him dying in his sleep.

Looking very much like he'll be the sweetener in any Pogba/Madrid deal. Will probs appease Woodward's social media signing quota as well.

It was the easy option on here to blame everything on Mourinho.

We'll lose 3 on the bounce at the start of the season and it'll be Mourinho's fitness training that is still blamed

I wasn't even talking about on here, my experience was from Reddit at the time before I gave up arguing with 12 year old American #@&%!s and £#%&!ed it off, but all that shite was as a result of press briefings that were coming out saying that Mourinho was the reason we didn't have a DOF. Obviously that wasn't the case, so you have to wonder where all those briefings came from
