Nah give him another 175 games and he might find a team mate with a pass.

He’s only been in the first team 5 years. Too early to judge.

It’s starting to get to sink or swim territory
We can’t wait forever for him to get his game together

Looks to have a bit of sulk these days
Needs to get back to basics and do the simple things well

Cant believe we gave him that new contract. He should've been challenged to earn it this season.

Yep.

More mismanagement from the club.

Sooner or later you have to be judged on more than making runs, where you’re from and how good you might become.

Sooner or later you’re going to have to give some consideration to the last 90 minutes as well as the next 5 years. One we know about, the other we don’t.

He’s been pretty poor since Liverpool at OT last season, was £#%&!ing good for a couple of months before that though. A poor spell of form exacerbated by our lack of options. Needs to play through it. Standard for a 21 year old tbh.

But we haven’t really been allowed to slate him up until now, just wondered if we can call him out on his shit now?

It’s a worry that he’s started the season so poorly tbf

Lukaku would have bagged today.

He has a hell of a lot to improve on if he wants to make it as a centre forward. His left foot for a start, as evidenced with those two times Pogba played him in. He is also far from adequate in the air.

I think he would be outscored by Greenwood if they played a similar number of minutes through the middle.

He's spent his career on the wing. He isn't used to playing down the middle. Hopefully he will learn with experience. It isn't his fault he's our only striker.

Except when he scores and this thread gets abandonded by the same posters obviously.

I’m fairly confident Rashford will score a decent amount of goals this season, but no doubt we don’t look strong going forward.

Not allowed to slate him? I’ve definitely been on the wrong forum.

I hope he gets the chance. Our players have been able to lean too heavily on things other than current form for way too long tbh. Good players tend not to need a dozen excuses.

It’s not just about goals mate, it’s about clean play. The best goal scorers can go through barren patches, but that doesn’t mean their overall game has to be brainless and sloppy. Too often Rashford is brainless and sloppy; sorry if that doesn’t correlate with the local lad done good narrative.
