I remember Donald Trump doing the draw for that on saint & greavsie. St John says to him 'you don't know what you've done do you', and he made a face to say I couldn't give two shits.

Was at that in the home end.

I was 12, my dad really didn't think about my safety much

Shame how the domestic Cup competitions are being treated more & more as a distraction these days rather than something to get up for.
Our performance away at Chelsea last month was shocking.

I think the last time we gave absolutely everything in a domestic Cup tie was that League Cup SF against City - particularly the second leg at Old Trafford.
The buzz after that match was immense, you'd never think it was a League Cup tie in a million years.

Loved Sharpie btw

Game was all ticket and E Stand was closed completely due to the trouble that had occurred in the league game, the previous December. Plus there was shedloads of segregation in place from memory.

Remember all the reasons, just as naive seventeen year old was shocked when I walked in to see the crowd. Seem to remember they had a block of about 2000 in the middle of K stand with no one in the scoreboard paddock under them.

We got a shit allocation for there place too, about 1100 if my mind isn't playing tricks on me.

Anyway it was big game at the time.

Yep, I never had a ticket for the away leg.

Went to the league game early in the season and don't recall any trouble....subsequent visits there were like a war zone.

Got kept in for over an hour after the match whilst the police were trying to get rid of them all from outside.

Remember coming out and thinking "Why the £#%&! did we come on the train?"

I was in the home end, about 20 of us and got escorted out when Sharpe scored, it was like that arsenal gif where they are all holding each other back.

They were big games nqat. Considering our trophy haul was one FA cup in the previous six years and we'd never won the league cup it's not much of a surprise.
There were some great game in that run too, the aforementioned 6-2 and the 3-1 against Liverpool, brilliant goal from Hughes. Granada soccer night, hmmm? isn't it? you know...
Shame we ballsed up the final.
