Just supposin' Fergie retires at the seasons end

I'm not one to get all het up about the prospect of us possiblity not wining 4 titles in a row but say the great man did retire, what calibre of manageer is going to take over Manchester United with a budget of about £20 million? None of the euro heavyweights will have any of that. Some say we don't want anybody like that so we may get a Moyesesque figure used to running the club on a budget. Either way it doesn't bode well for when Alex does actually retire as I can't see the situation improving in the next few years. More problems ahead.

Give it to some random from this forum. Several of them claim every weekend that they would do better than Fergie with less money as they post their analysis of all his mistakes and tell him what he should have done. I'd be interested in this experiment.

Wasn't it a slightly different point here though??

In other words, given that the Glazers have £#%&!ed this club, none of the "big names" you mentioned will want to touch us with a bargepole??
