Default Ahmadou Dia - (Un)Welcome To Manchester

Quote:
MANCHESTER UNITED have offered Marseille goalkeeper Ahmadou Dia a four-year contract, according to reports in France.

Never seen him play but anyone who will get in the way of Big Serg taking over the #1 jersey from De Gea will have me to deal with...

Anyone who thinks Romero is remotely capable of being our no.1 is mentally ill. Buy Oblak, job done.

Well send for the men in white coats but I do
At least for a season and we can evaluate after that

I'm pretty sure he has the best clean sheet record in Utd history after having played a certain number of games
He's better than any of the keepers we signed between Schmeichel and VDS

With Romero we know he's fine playing the PL with the increased physicality allowed on keepers in England
He's also settled in the north west

You never know with keepers if they'll adapt alright to another league or club
Look at VDS at Juve

Please provide evidence of when he ever the club down?

Has been superb when called upon and his clean sheets stats pay testament to that.

Yep those clean sheets against Yeovil in the fa cup and Fc Backofbeyond in the Europa prove he could easily be United new number one.

I like Serge, but he’s erratic at times and I’d have doubts he’d be the answer full time as the first choice tbh.

You do realise he played against Arsenal and Chelsea this season and was very good in both games

Tbh, I think Dave’s been more erratic this season than I’ve ever seen Serge. Has nightmares of Andy Carrol every time he comes off his line. For every impossible save he makes with his feet he shits himself as he concedes another header in his 6 yard box. On balance, a decent keeper but nowhere near Schmikes or VDS.

Wolves. FA Cup. 3 weeks ago. 2nd goal. £#%&!ing awful goalkeeping, and his normal standard. Decent number 2, no more.
