Smalling and Jones have had long extensions, so they're not going anywhere.

Pogba could be sold and Herrera wants out (out of contract soon anyway), so they will probably go.

Mata and Valencia are out of contract this summer. We'd be daft to renew Valencia. Mata maybe a one year rollover.

Pereira is out of contract this summer, but there is a one year extension available, I'd use it and keep him at least a year.

There is a bunch out of contract in 2020, Rashford, De Gea, Matic, Bailly, Darmian, Young and Grant. Resale value will be low

You can see the contract situations here

Don't agree

Fellaini signed a new contract but was out within a year of signing it

Contracts for clubs are there to protect your investment

If Ole after several months accessment doesn't think they are good enough for what he wants to implement then he can let the players know they're not in his plans
Up to the players whether they want to do a Winston Bogarde or actually look for first team football
I think ultimately those 2 players will choose the later

It's not like it was Ole's decision to renew their contracts

I understand what you say, but the bog brush went to China on a big contract. The Chinese are not daft enough to offer big contracts to Jones and Smalling, and neither is anyone else... we're stuck with them for the next few seasons.

Agreed it wasn't Ole's decision

Yep.

Can’t see anyone taking them off our hands tbh and I can’t see the club allowing Ole to bring in their replacements before they’re sold...

Like you say, we’re stuck with them for a while longer.

Why do people talk about China like it’s some holy grail retirement village? We had the same talk about Rooney when everyone wanted him gone. Imagine jones going over there, isn’t he from Preston or somewhere like that? You’d see him after a month and he’d be bright orange because the only thing he’d be able to eat is sweet and sour chicken.

If he is looking to offload Lukaku Sanchez and Martial or 2 of them he gonna need to look at a striker as well to play alongside Rashers.

We need a fast transition to counter teams so fast forwards are needed like Mane/Salah

Someone lightning quick, scores plenty esp in Prem given we are not in ECL

he wont be able to offload players who are on big contracts. You cant pass the problem on to smaller clubs who cant entertain bang average players on inflated contracts.
