Probably only 4 in this summer (5 at best) but we’ll get rid of more than 4 Remember Axel is coming back from a very successful loan Add in Greenwood, Gomes and one or two others from the youth becoming genuine first team squad players as well |

Not sure on the 4 in to be honest. What is realistic, europa league and a complete novice of a manager means our targets will be far from world class and rightfully so.
However the 4 out for me would be Young Jones Smalling Jones |

Agree that the squad is too big and that we need to create space for some young players. Two out for everyone in. Players should only be signed if their best years are ahead of them. No more being a club cum retirement home. Also we need to make sure that any signings have the right character/personality/mentality whatever you want to call it.
Neymar would be the worst possible signing we could make. |

You need to consider the contract situation.
Young has a one year renewal, no one will buy him, thus he's here next season. He may not play a lot, but he's staying. Smalling and Jones have had long extensions, so they're not going anywhere. Pogba could be sold and Herrera wants out (out of contract soon anyway), so they will probably go. Mata and Valencia are out of contract this summer. We'd be daft to renew Valencia. Mata maybe a one year rollover. Pereira is out of contract this summer, but there is a one year extension available, I'd use it and keep him at least a year. There is a bunch out of contract in 2020, Rashford, De Gea, Matic, Bailly, Darmian, Young and Grant.
