Would rather Tielemans and a different CB tbh.

Looking forward to us bidding 90m for him next summer
Played a blinder?

If any half decent club had gone for him Leicester wouldn’t have had a sniff. What the £#%&! are we doing pissing about with those inbreds from the North East when this lad is available and affordable ffs.

40m for Tielemans
50m for Longstaff

Just throw 100m at Wolves for Ruben Neves. That boy is the real deal.

But he is young ...and hungry...and has potential and has "man utd DNA" and shares the philosophy of the club and whatever else bullshit people will say to try and gloss over the shit show that is manchester united and this transfer window.

It really is a farce.

'Biggest club in the world. We can do things in the transfer market other can only dream about...'

Sure no other big club is thinking of signing him ffs.

State of the club.

If longstaff signs for anywhere near 50 million ole partly gets the blame for sanctioning it. Get ready lads another long shit season ahead battling everton and wolves.

And people weren't happy when we were saying that either.

It ended up getting us Sanchez - one of the worst signings we've ever made.

It seemed like most people agreed that we needed to be targeting younger players and changing our approach.

Now we're doing that, they're all not good enoug? Isn't that the trade off of going for less established names?

Or is it simply that they must be young, hungry and dead certs to succeed because they're worldies.

No big big players are gonna sign for us right now. Sorry. We need to rebuild from the ground up. You start with the principles, attitude and improve on the quality as you go.

We're a team full of misfits. I'll take a season of us getting some £#%&!ing work ethic and hunger back in the squad.

All of this.

Also the bolded part- the worry is that if we don’t make top 4 then Ole gets the sack and we start all over again. He needs to be given time to sort this mess of a squad out, give him 2-3 years and as long as there’s promise or we can see the direction we’re going under him we need to stick with it.

Just throw anything we can get for Pogba right back at Wolves for him. More if needs be. Top player.

All for signing young players only if they are good enough.

The lad played about 10 games ffs.

Is this what we are now resigned to? Signing reserves like sparky said.

If he signs alongside Big Bruno, fine with that as he can learn, but if he is the only midfielder ae sign we are in big £#%&!ing trouble.

Let's be honest. There's no £#%&!ing way on earth we'd have been quoted 40m for Tielemans.

Until we sign him and everyone then focuses on his deficiencies.

I’m sure you know, and as ole has said himself, he has nothing to do with finance. He picks the players.

So, is he good enough? The number of games means £#%&! all.

Ole must think so. Just like fergie thought Sharpe was good enough after a few games for Torquay.

Any other situations you want to make up? I’m pretty sure ole shares your view.

Can’t see us spending over 150m this summer tbh and I don’t think we’ll make much off sales either. Pogba will stay imo and I think Dave will sign a new contract.
Two weeks left of the window and this is looking more and more likely (Sage?)

We might not even sign Maguire meaning we’d have spent roughly the same amount as last summer...

Ole won't hold any grudges lads if he doesn't get any more signings.

Good to know. 6 months and they've beaten the ambition out of him.

Don’t really see CB as the priority signing
If we went with Lindelof and Axel then I’d be fine with that for next season

It’s midfield we desperately need improving in
Replacement for Matic and a creative attacking midfielder

We’ll also need a forward replacement for Lukaku when he leaves

Don’t know why we’re wasting so much time on Maguire
Wish we’d look further afield than the British Isles

Tbf we’ve done that with last few centre back signings and none have been great, obviously big Linders has come on leaps since his first season.

I agree we’re desperate for a Matic replacement.
