no opposition goals shown, so if United didn't score the game wasn't included

the New Year's Day game in 1988 vs Charlton (0-0) was the first one I attended - ignored on the season review VHS my uncle bought for me the next Christmas

I have the full Sky programme of the Blackburn home match including the pre-match and after match celebrations
Sky had Bill Foulkes, George Best and Paddy Crerand as pundits for the match

Genuine headline from the Graun in the late 1970s - "Roche puts United in a paddy"

Don't even think of asking what game it was - it could, after all, have been one of dozens

Just for anyone that thinks Martin Tyler has only been a snide ABU shithouse in recent years, he said during the Blackburn 93 game :

"Kenny Dalglish has been involved in eight championship winning teams as player and manager - that's as many as Manchester United have won in their history."

Must be twenty years since I've heard someone even use the expression "in a paddy"

I used to own a few videos. Mainly the Manchester United on Video ones. Memories from them were :

- Lee Sharpe making a bacon butty
- Rob Palmer and Sir Alex talking, Rob's phone goes off (the biggest mobile phone ever) with the Champions League draw

Oh and some football action.
