Old United team pics

just found this, which is apparently 1974, which is a year or so before my dad first took me - but I don't think i have seen a team photo from any era mid 50's onward that has more players on I neither recognise or have heard of

- McEwan ( did he go on to form the bay city rollers? )
- Brown

ps some of the typos aren't mine, correcting a few from the C&P but just noticed the managers name.

How long did George Graham play for us? We were on about it in the pub on Sunday and my mate (who's a fair bit older than me) reckons he didn't play a full season.

1972–1974 Manchester United 43 appearances 2 goals - can you imagine the abuse he'd get on 1970sfred.com for that ratio?

Nevermind..

..he could always of grown his hair long, allowed the team's talisman to take him under his wing.. and before you know it he's a crowd favourite and a cult figure

Could be the 1948 team. Looks like Johnny Carey on the back row and furthest left. He was captain though I think and maybe should be sat front centre.
