Default Vegetarian or Vegan

Are you? Could you? Would you?

Heath reasons alone are the only way Id stop eating meat. Just frying up some bacon now. I know grillling is the better option but the wife prefers it.

Anyway... thoughts?

If God didn't want us to eat meat then why did he make it taste so nice?

Missus has gone vegan recently, she doesn't seem to miss meat at all. Don't think I've got it in me. Was raised on a diet of meat and potatoes, the fact that I eat vegetables at all is a wonder.

Veggie for 15 years and Vegan for one. That one year being vegan was fucking miserable. Saying that the food has come on leaps since then.

You can go Pseudo veggie for a few days.

I make vegetable dishes like cauliflower steaks , stir fried broccoli, garlic and onions etc, but I add meat stock cubes to flavour it. I know it's not truly veggie, but it's a healthier option from time to time.

We live in a holocaust of a world where every living thing feeds off every other living thing. I include plants and vegetation etc. in that

That said, factory farming is an utter abomination for both the animal and the consumer. Horrific practice that needs to be cut out.

Been veggie and vegan for various reasons previously but always gravitate back to meet. Processed meat is rarely consumed (partial to a bit of chorizo).

If husbandry was done properly meat would be more expensive and better quality, which it should be. There would then be a need to harvest more grains, beans etc. to feed the population.

Whichever way you look at it the earth is over populated and we're fucked, but we'll be fucked even quicker if we keep harvesting billions of animals.
