Currently zero out of 10.

Ordered a new tv off Amazon for World Cup watching. Think the delivery driver left it on the doorstep and pissed off. It is now missing.

And I am hungover.

Gone to minus 1. Just realised the players I put bets on for top scorer weren't actually top scorer at all. But player of the tournament.

Money on Lukaku to win player of the tournament ffs

I’ve got zero interest in this WC, perhaps that will change once it gets going.

When I was a kid I was beside myself with excitement for months beforehand waiting for it to start.

I think the Champions League took the shine off it long ago when you could see far better teams slugging it out on a weekly basis.

I don’t think any national team would make the semi’s of the CL never mind win it.

Don't intend to (knowingly, at least) watch a single minute of it.

Remains an absolute scandal that it is even happening on every level.

Doubt I’ll watch anything live. If anything looks good I’ll watch on repeat.

Look forward to Harry crashing in a hat trick

If it helps (it won't), I'm actually less excited after watching the match yesterday.

A load of (male) Quataries seemed to be enjoying it though

My boss said I can 'work from home' whenever England are playing so I can watch the games.

My enthusiasm for a good England run has increased dramatically.

I'm starting to warm to it. The gammon seeth against a Muslim nation is making it all the more enjoyable.

Sick of all the cheesy adverts already and I wish they’d stop banging on about the politics.

Just get on with the football now.

This.

Love seeing teams with players we know little about.

Despite so much madness, what happens on the pitch is still really great and inspiring at times.

Bring it on!

It's got me, it always does....

Football doesn't have to mean alcohol, bringing the beautiful game to our Arab brothers...

Pretty unarsed about it, and that's despite working at home now.

International football is a bit of a chore really, teams tend to be very cautious, and there's loads of small countries whose main job is to play the spoiler

Might get into it in the knockout stages, but England while decent individually are overrated and have a crap, ultra-defensive manager.

Purposely booked the Eurostar back yesterday at the time the first game was on as I couldn't give a toss.

Sat on the sofa in my finest ath-lesuire avoiding emails & meetings now I sort hope it turns into a chaotic mess with good football & lots of off field shenanigans.

Good start that the England fans can't get in & are booing the Iranian anthem - never change knuckle-draggers

Are we sure that wasn't the Iranian fans booing?

BBC commentator said the same, I'd imagine it was both tbh but fair play to the Iranians if so.
