Rashford will be gone in two years or less. I’m already thinking of Garnacho as the future and if we eventually get Antony it’s hard to see him getting a look in. He’s been so poor for so long that we have to stop talking form at some stage.

To be fair, it’s been 10 years mate. Can we just sort our act out?

We're in such a state at the moment that one or two transfer windows aren't going to be nearly long enough.

If we can make steady progress, and maybe make the top four at the end of the 2023/24 season, then we can start to attract some quality players and see some real improvements.

Arnold and Murtough have only been here 5 mins so far, so it's hard to tell what their long-term plans are, but there are small signs in the staff they are recruiting that things will improve.

Just remember where we were with Woodward, Moyes and his bunch of freaks in the backroom staff.

We haven't done nearly enough, but this is an exaggeration.

Richarlison isn't that great, gets sent off a lot, and average about one in three. Kulusevski has had a decent half season after not doing that much at Juve.

Plus they have Champions League football which will take more out of them, physically and mentally.

All about the system. You know that Richarlison is just going to be an absolute nightmare in a Conte side. Diego Costa hallmarks all over him. Proper gnarly bastard who will never stop running & create a ton of space for Son/Kane to run into. Has been 1 in 3 scorer past 2 seasons but he's also played a lot of football in that time (Olympics w/ Brazil + Copa America .. not one summer off) and was close to a 1-in-2 striker before that. Conte gets so much out of players .. Bentancur + Kulusevski both extremely highly rated when they moved to Juve .. Juve go through cyclical fade, Conte picks them up and surprise surprise they're perfectly suited to how he wants to play football.

Great teams have great systems created by great managers. ETH may be a great manager but a few days from kick off & there's may be a handful of players at the club who look suited to that Dutch style of football.
