However, anyone that thought he was ok on sunday needs to take the red specs off, he was awful, a couple of nice long passes but he couldn't trap a bag of cement and his short passing is worse than o'sheas at present.
I'd give him a 2 week break, send him off on holiday let him sort his head out, we've got more than enough cover in Owen, Macheda and Chico.

We've been scoring for fun with a very average rooney so far, once hes up and running we could be in for some real entertainment this year.
