Without Corona , their plan is usually to sell 1 or 2 of their best players and then use that money. They've not been able to do that so in their slums they stay.

They managed to sell Solanke for £20million somehow. Sure they’ve got another reserve team player they can sell way over the odds.

Doesn't seem to fit in with our current transfer policy tbh.

Solskjaer has signed players all 25 or under, to sign a 30 year old with a history of getting injured a lot on a silly money contract would not make sense.

Can't see it.

This smacks of our name being brought out again to get the buying club to cough up

given the other current needs, the signing of DvB and his age....just have to agree that it doesn't seem likely and really outside of how Ole has been trying to build the squad

Yup. Do think he’s a 29 year old that would make sense though, tbh.

A bit of experience wouldn't go amiss. As long as the majority of signings are that younger age bracket.

Agree though, it's %@#$&!s. He'll go to Liverpool.

Given we've added a midfielder I'd like to see us strengthen at the back more than get this fella in.

Yeah but £30m quid is value if it makes the scousers rage at their owners. Which it would.

Not when it comes to paying old lads high wages. Also the tea lady is on £200k a week here, its a basic wage. Liverpool still think £100k a week is high.
