Better late than never.

Bring him home.

Strange that Liverpool don't ever seem to be able to pull off a big transfer despite being the best side that the Universe has ever seen ever.

Quality midfielder from Bayern Munich, history of injury trouble, what could possibly go wrong?

He’s always been brilliant when I’ve seen him play but you never feel like Bayern would let a player go unless they think he’s past his best.

Likely massive wage.

Surprised Utd aren't in for him.

Would have thought the scousers would be looking for younger players. Quite a few of their key players are 28 onwards.
Did I speak too soon?

Hope we don't get him tbh.

Nearly 30, injury prone and just had groin surgery.

Has disaster written all over it.

Bayern have matched his wage request for a new deal, but he simply wants to try something else in his career & they have stipulated they don't want to lose him for nothing.

If he digs his heels in & says he only wants to join Utd it could be a decent bit of business.

He's clearly an excellent player. Was apparently gutted when Moysey cancelled his move to United (), I just don't see him fitting into the team unless Pogba's sold.

Think he'll sign a new deal at Bayern.

We've only ever signed top midfielders from Bayern so this augurs well.

No chance. People clearly haven't been paying attention to the change in direction that the manager is looking for.

Surprised with your expert transfer knowledge you don't know who is replacing him.
