I don’t blame him for wanting some clarity on his future tbh. He’s done the loan gig, his stock is high and he should be pressing his case. Any true competitor would. Managers get paid a lot of money to make these decisions, so make it.

I can agree up to a point - but until he has made a few first team appearances for us and impressed in them, his bargaining power will be a bit more limited than that.

I'm struggling to understand why we are keeping faith with a player who is clearly past his best and on the downward slope, and in the process risking losing a fantastic young goalkeeper who could play for us for another 15 years.

The risk isn't playing Henderson it is pissing him off.

I don't see how that works tbh.

Ole either says he's the new number 1 and ditches DDG, or Henderson goes out for another season.

The moment Henderson starts a league game above DDG is the end of DDG at United. We tried this in the past with Carroll, Howard etc... and it ended poorly.

You have to put faith in your GK and stick with them until they're done. I think DDG is done but not sure Ole does.

Read somewhere that Chelsea asked United for, I think it was a 2 year loan with an option to buy, United £#%&!ed them off, Chelsea came back and asked for just a loan for next season

I'd have thought the Glazer's would be loving the chance to off-load Dave and replace him with a freebie who could be the club's keeper for the next 15+ years.
