The £#%&!ing champions league It's a good competition but it's almost as if we've been banned for life the way people are going on.

the way we're shaping up, we may as well have been.

how the £#%&! we missed out is beyond me.

The Premier League is dull as £#%&! - except for our big games with City, Liverpool.

I'm bored thinking about next season already.

Is it really what it used to be?

Spurs are in this years final ffs...

Both teams competing are champions of £#%&! all too.

It's just the prestige tag footballers fall for. Then they go out at the group stages because they drew to Bratislava KFC home and away.

I think we'll be back after next season anyway.

Selling the transfer to De Ligt is a piece of piss.

Actually agree with the sentiment.

Last time the scousers won it, they finished outside the top 4. If they win it again, they will do so as runners up in the league.

Qualifying positions are largely irrelevant.

Easy tiger. It was early when I made that comment (it’s still not 7am here) and I’d just woken up. Not really read the thread, only a few comments before, and I could well have missed the gist.

I simply thought comparing the ‘99 final, played between the champions of Germany and the champions of England, two clubs that had also won numerous titles between them in the years preceding the final, to this year’s final between two clubs that have not won a title between them for something like a combined 80 years, seemed a bit silly.

I also thought referring to the champions (double winners) of both England and Germany as the “champions of £#%&! all” was a bit rich.

I’m sure Spurs and Liverpool would bloody love a “technicality” like that.

The way everyone on here is talking is like he’s beckenbauer and pele rolled into one. he’s had a good season, like Phil Jones had (new Duncan Edwards remember). Not arsed either way if he signs
