If Wes S doesn't sign then I don't see any reason why he wouldn't get some games next season, he was far better than Carrick. I was quite impressed with Anderson as well but then they say fat has a very high energy content.

Carrick's getting a bit too much stick for me, him and fatboy hardly gave city a kick in the 1st half and from what i understand he wasn't fully fit.

Can't peddle the old midfield in tatters thing if we have midfielders playing well really though can we?

I agree. However VDS has been outstanding for the last 3 years whilst Carrick hasn't.
