Yep. 2nd half we were clearly the better side, and the first was fairly level.

2-0 is hugely flattering for them.

"Hugely" is maybe pushing it a bit. West Ham were always well equipped to deal with "pretty" football with little goal threat.

Awful misses are not a freak of nature they’re an indicator of lack of quality, especially when they happen every week. You may as well say if everything had gone differently it would have been a different result. Smoke and mirrors.

I was about to say the same. Thought their two CBs had an easy afternoon and handled everything comfortably. Although we did have a couple of decent chances, at least one should have been taken.

That first half we were outplayed completely. Don’t know how you could see it otherwise. Think our only opportunity came from their £#%&! up when Rashford decided to do a bambi impression rather than shoot.

If Ruud van Nistelrooy missed four gilt- edged chances in a game you could have said “that’s football” or “shit happens”, but you can’t say it with this lot, when it’s every £#%&!ing week. Very few of our squad have earned the benefit of the doubt they’re being afforded.

Shitty game of low quality. We were just so mediocre.

More shots. More possession. More corners.

We also had the only ‘should score’ chance of the entire game.

Absolutely £#%&! off if you think that was genuinely a 2-0 game.

I thought Neville made a fair point when he said United seemed prepared to waste the first 25 minutes. Such low intensity to start a game against a side like this. Felt the same way in midweek. It may have just been Astana but guys are strolling to take corners.

A serious team starts the match in a more assertive way with more aggression, especially in this age. Unfortunately the way United began the game today reflects poorly on the coaching staff, whatever the weaknesses in the team.

It was a 0-0.

We were so lacklustre. No movement no creativity. Plodish.

wasn't just the first 25 minutes was it there was no tempo or urgency, even Wan Bisakka who I like was ambling back into position after breaking forward, didn't take him long to be infected by the CBA breaking into a jog mentality so many of our wasters have

Definitely a fair point.

Somebody said the same the other day, compare us to how Liverpool/city start out. They’ve invariably won the game in the first half hour. We seem to just be happy to still be in the game after 30 mins.
