Cant believe ETH kept him as captain.

Watch him closely, he spreads so much uncertainty.

Nobody respects him. How can that be our captain and leader?

Maguire isn’t good enough but how can anyone overlook the biggest problem out there today was De Gea.

The bloke is a complete joke.

In a normal team, he'd be stripped of the captaincy. But we can't as the other options are the world's worst goalkeeper, an elderly legend trying to leave or a guy who has had half a good season.

I'd give it to fred. He's shit but he tries.

Maguire is your man if you want relegation to be viable.

It's the only thing he's good at. Said when Hag kept him on as captain we were effectively writing off the entire season. Didn't think it would be rhis bad though - thought we'd be around 5th or 6th not wondering how this team is going to win against anyone.

De Gea was disgraceful yesterday and cost us the game. He fronted up after the game and essentially said that.

As mentioned in the Ronaldo thread, the captaincy should have changed hands as soon as CR7 re-signed for us. Maguire, himself, should have handed over the armband to one of the greatest players the world has ever seen, as a mark of respect, the second he wasn't stripped of the honour. The fact that he didn't, in itself, proves he's not up for the job.

Guessing one player from each team gets interviewed due to time constraints and that massive goat faced @#%&! wanted to front up because for not the first time in the last three seasons he single handedly cost us a game.

Serious lack of self awareness with this Maguire guy. That incident in Greece and how he handled it should have been the sign to bin him.

There are enough CB’s at the club that he’ll lose his place naturally as the season goes on if he’s that bad.

The problem are the players and positions with no viable alternative, of which there are far too many.

Fred isn’t too bad but either good or £#%&!ing awful, we need to be able to take him out in the bad times.

We all believed EtH got the job because he told the club what they needed to do and how he is the man to fix it all by clearing decks. I fear that he actually told them that he can get these @#%&!s to play football with just a couple of new players.

I’m afraid telling them that was the only way to get the job.

The owners can’t and won’t sanction wholesale changes to the squad.

They have to coerce the @#%&!s at the club to perform while gradually improving the squad. It’s going to take £#%&!ing ages.

we have a whole team of unflushable turds, but they could be arranged to cover the worst inadequacies of each. instead, a series of managers ignores the weaknesses of the individuals when picking an 11.

who would pair attacking fullbacks with slow centre backs and a black hole in midfield? our attack is clueless, too, considering how overloaded it is.
