Fred is an absolute abomination. Just awful. The ethelaustin kante.
Its hard because we genuinely expected to have shifted two or three players by now, but haven't done so.

Gotta think it’s this.

The talk in the summer was that he have £100 net spend.

They probably expected Lingard, Jones and a couple of others to go and raise £40-£50m for a third big signing*

*ronaldo being a special case.

If we can get him and Lingard gone for £45-£50m, then I’ve got a sneaking feeling we might push for someone tomorrow.

Love how ole is totally dismissed by so many yet won more as a player than any top line coach. They talk about him likes he’s just left Middleton Sunday league ..

Don't seem to be strongly linked with anyone.

Can't see it happening, though hope I am wrong.

This agenda won't ever stop either. Until he wins the league ().

The journo's have gone with it and are absolutely praying he gets sacked so they can say "We did say Moyes was a better option...."

Absolute #@&%!s. He adjusted his tactics on Sunday, we improved and won - no credit given.

er.... until he picks a competent midfield and until our forwards look like they know what they are doing.

Anything we win from this point will be because of Ronaldo and despite Ole. That’s the agenda.

Let's be honest, that won't stop it. It will just change to "Yeah, but they should've won the league with Ronaldo and the money they've spent. It's nothing to do with the manager".

An evolution of the "We only win games under Ole because we have good players to drag us through".

I'm still haunted by the sight of Fred looking like an 8 year old playing against adults the other day with his midfield partner nowhere to be seen. It's hard to get overly optimistic though I'm sure we'll have some good moments.

It's not so much an agenda as, you know, reality.

Did you see the Europa League final?

The Super Cup is no more than a glorified pre-season friendly. The Charity Shield of Europe.

Did he ? We were as bad as Southampton the weekend before, we'll drop loads of points if this continues...

Well the second half was better than the first and we scored, won. It wasn't great composed domination but it was better.

We all know what we need to make this better but at the minute we don't have it. And you're right, the points will get dropped if we don't sign a competent DM. I don't think it's Ole's fault we haven't got the class DM we need yet either. We all know how £#%&!ed our recruitment is most of the time. He'd have Rice, Bissouma or A.N Other weeks ago if he was allowed to, of course he would. Let's see what happens

He has prioritised other positions / signings. Think he has had about 6 transfer windows now, and that type of player has never been brought in.

Last summer we spent the best part of 70m on players who are rarely given minutes.

And they will still be saying that Arteta is good.
